He is so faithful! His word is so true..."You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it. (John 14:13-14) These are not just words. They're truths!!! In December I was absolutely humbled to my knees when I discovered that "Christianity Today" (one of the premier evangelical publications) reviewed my album, and made me their "Indie Spotlight" (Read more about this in my "Latest News" section.) I received 4 out of 5 stars. With tears streaming down my face, I humbly thanked God for His blessings! It was at that moment that I knew without a doubt that He is in control. I guess I just needed a reminder. A few weeks later, I found out that [they] also named my album as an "Editor's Choice" for 2007! Unbelievable! Since then...so many wonderful things have happened! God has made them happen! I know that, and I understand now what it truly means to "let go and let God!" It's not just a cliche'. I know that He loves me. HE LOVES ME!!!And He would do anything for me, as long as I'm willing to do anything for Him, even if that means giving it all up. And isn't that what it's all about anyway? Giving it all up...Giving it all over to Him...Dying to ourselves...Putting Him on the throne? That's all He wants from us and He'll give us anything! It's so easy, and yet we make it so hard sometimes! I want to love like that! I want to love with the love I've experienced. Sometimes I guess we just need a reminder of what love truly is..."Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut or boast, doesn't have a swelled head, doesn't force itself on others, isn't always "me first," doesn't fly off the handle, doesn't keep score of the sins of others, doesn't revel when others grovel, takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything, trusts God always, always looks for the best, never looks back but keeps going to the end. Love never dies. Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. God is love. Whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in him." My prayer for each of you is that you will know a love like that...His love!
