When I came up with the concept for this song, it was originally for two friends
of mine...two different friends (who do not know one another), going through two
completely different trials. But somehow, the words describe their lives both
literally and metaphorically. After writing this song, I also realized that it
described my life as well, and that it could mean so many things to so many
different women... going through many different trials and hardships. But no
matter the circumstances, one thing will always be true... He will always be
there (answering every prayer...even when we don't realize it). This turned out
to be a much more important song than I had first realized. It's not just for my
two precious friends, but for any woman who has ever gone through any difficult
situation.
