Once I really claimed Jesus as my Savior, and my faith became more than just "a
Sunday morning thing," I knew I had to share this joy and newness that had
captured my heart and changed my life. I started thinking about all the things
the Jesus was called while He was here, walking among us, and I knew I had to
write about it. I truly feel that this song was put on my heart by God because I
wrote it in about 15 minutes. I jokingly call it "the song that wrote itself."
But the subject matter is certainly not a joke. He has been called many things
throughout the centuries, but the most important thing is what you choose to
call Him. What will you call Him?
Born in a filthy manger
The prophey'd begun
The wisemen came to see their King

Some called Him the Messiah
Some called Him Abraham
But He's the One they waited for
The Sovereign Lord, the Lamb
Some called Him a magician, some saw a charletan

He discredited their ways and so they nailed Him to a tree
